An autograph album, largely compiled on RMS Queen Mary, including on her maiden voyage, with the signatures of actors, sports personalities, and others, including Erich von Stroheim, Larry Adler, Irene Dunne, Helen Hayes, Dolores del Rio, Evelyn Laye, Noel Coward, Ricardo Cortez, Errol Flynn, Mary Pickford, Fred Perry, John Henry Lewis, and Pam Barton, 58 pages, oblong 8vo (112 x 135 mm), 1936 to 1954 (but chiefly 1936), black cloth, housed in a collector's box signed by Paul Wright as Captain of Queen Mary 2, wear to covers and spine, loss to front pastedown, some light spotting

RMS Queen Mary sailed on her maiden voyage on 27 May 1936 and operated as a transatlantic liner until 1967 (except during the war years, when she carried troops). This album appears to have been compiled by a Miss R. Richards, who worked on the ship's telephone switchboard (she is named on a press cutting that is loosely inserted and her name is partially visible on the front pastedown).
