First edition, separate printing of Bohr’s important work, first published in Mathetatisk-fysike.


Known for his foundation contributions to atomic and quantum theory, Bohr would later be awarded a Nobel Prize “for his services in the investigation of the structure of atoms and of the radiation emanating from them."


8vo (245 x 154 mm). Title and contents of mathematisk-Fysike Vol 14 inserted and loose. Original red wrappers; lightly sunned with a few chips to margins.
