the earthenware of low-fired dark reddish clay with black fire marks, the neck modelled with pronounced nose and incised with almond eyes and open mouth, impressed cord-marked patterns and incised details, accompanied with a fitted wood storage box

Excavated at Takashimizu, Karumai-machi, Kunohe-gun, Iwate Prefecture
