Description

the circular shallow dish on raised ring foot, decorated in iron-red, green and yellow enamels over underglaze blue with chrysanthemums, fringed pinks (nadeshiko), bell flowers (kikyo), patrinia (ominaeshi) and Japanese arrowroot (kuzu), decorated on the underside in underglaze blue with three floral sprays, each composed of a large floret centred by scrolling stems and leaves, with a band of comb design around the foot, accompanied with a fitted wood storage box
