painted with a bird perched in a flowering branch of indianische Blumen issuing from rockwork, the handle painted with a single flowering branch, the silver-gilt cover, unmarked, inset with a medal with the inscription “CHARMANT SOUVENIR 1723’’, crossed swords mark in blue enamel
