Signed on the front free endpaper by all the important cast members of the film, including Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, Leslie Howard, Olivia de Havilland, Hattie McDaniel, Alicia Rhett, Leona Roberts, and Jane Darwell, with an additional presentation inscription on the half title; uneven toning to endpapers and half title, the ghost of a rusty paperclip at the head of the front free endpaper and subsequent leaves, a small crease and wear to the lower corner of the front free endpaper, a short edge tear to the half title, the rest of the contents generally clean and bright with an occasional very minor blemish. Publisher's gray cloth, spine and upper board stamped in blue; a well-read copy, with a lean and light toning to the spine, rubbing and wear mostly to extremities, short tears to the cloth at spine ends, the hinges a bit loose but sound. Housed in a custom blue morocco-backed clamshell case; spine slightly faded.
