Autograph letter signed ("C. Pissarro") to his wife, Julie Vellay, "ma chère Julie," Paris, Jeudi, [no date, but circa 1893], discussing the theatre, Paul Signac, Octave Mirbeau, and their children, notably his talented but short-lived son Felix ("Titi") and his "très jolies" artworks.

2-pages in ink on a single sheet (170 x 223 mm, to sight). Lightly toned in the margins, an erased pencil annotation and a short edge tear in the upper right corner. Framed with a reproduction of a Pissarro Paris streetscape.

Monet, Claude

Autograph letter signed, to Miss Gladys Deacon (later Gladys Spencer-Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough), Giverny, 25 October, 1914, discussing seeing her during her trip to France, "that is, if the Zeppelins permit you," WWI, and Monet's excuses for writing in pencil, "I have such bad handwriting that it becomes illegible with a pen."

3-pages in pencil on a single folded sheet of Giverny mourning stationery (198 x 255 mm, to sight). A small strip of tape along the fold. Framed, with the original mailing envelope, and a portrait of Monet.

Renoir, Pierre Auguste

Autograph letter signed, to "Cher Monsieur," 23 May, [19]02, "I am in Paris, and will receive you and your collectors whenever you wish. I should, however, tell you that I have not a great deal that I could part with at the moment."
