This pair of wall-lights is similar to several ones from the Prussian palaces of Berlin-Brandenburg and in particular quite close to a series of massive wall-lights preserved at the Neue Palais in Potsdam. We find the same ornamental vocabulary and the same very fine light arms in curves and exaggerated counter-curves. It is also interesting to draw a parallel with a series of wall-lights made by Christian Gottlieb Kelly at the Neue Charlottenburg castle.
