A Pair of Gilt-Bronze Mounted Verte-Imari Porcelain Fish Bowls , Qing Dynasty, Yongzheng

On Louis XVI style gilt-bronze stands, the everted molded rim painted with foliate reserves amongst blue strapwork above a geometric banded neck over a tapering body painted with birds amongst fruiting plum trees and peonies, flanked by a lion-mask and ring handles, set on a tripod base with laurel banding and drapery, on lion-mask and animal-paw feet.
