The arms are those of Trollope, quartering Harpyn, Hawick and Clobery with Middleston in pretence, for Sir Thomas Trollope, 4th Bt. (1691-1784) and his wife Diana, daughter and co-heir of Thomas Middleton of Stanstead, Essex whom he married in c. 1721. The novelist Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) was Sir Thomas' great-grandson.
