Collection of Helen Crocker Russell, San Francisco, CA

The case bears a label for Helen Crocker Russell (1896-1966). She was the daughter of William Henry Crocker and Ethel (Sperry) Crocker. William was the president of the Crocker National Bank that helped finance the rebuild of San Francisco after the 1906 earthquake. She married Captain Henry Potter Russell in 1927 in London. She founded the Helen Crocker Russell Library of Horticulture in San Francisco.
