First edition of a notable example of the genre of "Teufelsliteratur", a didactic, satirical tract directed against sins and vices, penned by the Lutheran moralist Eustachius Schildo. Amongst the satirical targets are "kunstreiche Meister des Schach-Brettspiels" (skilful masters of the chessboard game).
