Description

opening with two drawers in the upper part, surmounting a fall-front, the interior opening with six drawers, storage compartments, and a case revealing small secret drawers, the writing surface lined with a green leather gilt-tooled with small motifs, the lower part opening with two doors enclosing a chest, the chamfered corners and recessed sides adorned with gilt-bronze ornamentation: garlands of flowers and fruits, borders and frames, lion masks, and apron, with a white veined marble top, the structure stamped J.H.
