The marriage in 1639 between Johann Anton of Eggenberg (1610- 1649), the gefürsteter Graf of Gradisca and Duke of Krumau and Anna Maria Princess of Brandenburg-Bayreuth (1609-1680) provides a terminus post quem to the date this pair of crespine. The pair may have been made by a Faenza trained potter working outside of Italy, possibly in Germany.
