with galleried white marble top above an open shelf with mirrored back and a drawer, flanked by two glazed cupboard doors enclosing a shelf, the base with banded trellis parquetry above a long drawer, sliding out to a gilt-tooled leather writing surface above a storage compartment, flanked by some small divided compartments, on turned tapering legs joined by a shaped lower tier
