the later cut-velvet squab cushion on a later upholstered removeable seat frame with cut-velvet cover and brocaded passementerie over mahogany rails, the scrolling carved pine X-frame support with imbricated channels centred with a stylised shell above an acanthus clasp and entrelac motif, the legs with acanthus knees terminating on lion paw feet, the returns with swags of oak leaves, with a turned central stretcher
