Description

painted by Swebach with two rectangular panels depicting soldiers of the Principaux Corps de la Garde Impériale, flanked at each end by military trophies in platinum and shaded gilding between bands of alternating platinum and gilt stars, the lower part with a border of alternating swords, eagles on pedestals and palmettes, the cover with a border of bees enclosed by laurel garlands, red printed crowned eagle and Manufacture Impériale Sèvres mark, date letters TZ for 1813 and MO 28 nv i in brown enamel, incised mark
