inscribed A. Rodin and numbered N° 9 (on the lower side); dated 1978 and inscribed © by. musée Rodin (on the base); stamped A. Rodin (on the inside); inscribed with the foundry mark .Georges Rudier. .Fondeur. Paris. (on the reverse)

Conceived circa 1912; this example cast by the Georges Rudier Foundry, Paris in 1978. This work is number 9 from an edition of 12 plus one 0 cast.

 

This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'œuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin being currently prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2021-6372B.
