James Ronca (1826–1910) was a distinguished British medallist and a carver of cameos in hard stones and shell, celebrated for his craftsmanship in producing official insignia for various orders and institutions.

Among his notable works is the Badge of the Order of Victoria and Albert, and Queen Victoria also commissioned him to cut cameo portraits of the Royal family. An exquisite shell cameo of Alexandra, Princess of Wales, carved by James Ronca in 1870, is part of the British Museum's collection (inv. no. 1992,0508.1).
