Description

painted on one side with draped woman seated within an Ionic naiskos, holding an open cista in her right hand, a draped standing woman holding a mirror to the right, another seated figure to the left; the neck decorated with a winged Eros sitting on a flower flanked by flowers and volutes, and on the other side a nude man and a draped woman sitting either side of a stele hung with taenia, the man holding a cista, the woman a mirror, rosettes in a field; the neck with central palmette and meander pattern, large palmettes under each handle, running wave pattern on the lower body, tongues on a shoulder, scrolls and tongues around the rim, details in added yellow and white.
