Produced in 2007, our monumental table, unique piece, testifies to Maria Pergay's artistic and stylistic power, infusing each of her creations with a singular presence.

At the age of 77, Maria Pergay brought together the materials that are emblematic of her work. She combines the cold shine of steel, the warmth of copper and the density of bronze, playing with contrasting materials, textures and shapes.

Resting on gilt bronze legs in the style of stylised wood trunk, our work reflects to Maria Pergay's attachment to nature and its symbolic forms, while at the same time asserting her functional approach to design. It is a continuation of her formal vocabulary, in which the rigour and precision of metal working interact with a poetic, sculptural dimension inspired by nature.

The presence and elegance of our table make it a major work by Maria Pergay.
