Legal history
A group of printed English Statutes, 22 volumes in all, comprising:
(1) The statutes made and established from the time of king Henry the thirde, unto the first yere of the reigne of our most gracious and victorious soveraigne lorde kyng Henry the viii. London: Henry Wykes, [and Thomas Berthelet], 1564. Folio, gothic type, title-page with woodcut border, small manuscript title in an early modern hand to fore-edge, title-page reinforced at margins, some creasing and marginal dampstaining, rebacked with original covers retained, endleaves renewed upper hinge split.
