8 volumes, 8vo (23.5 x 16.4cm), printed in red and black, ornamental woodcut borders, title and initials, original limp vellum, yapp edges, silk ties, light spotting to edges, light warping to covers of volume three
One of 225 copies (on paper) of an edition of 231. The ten borders and four half borders found within this eight-volume set were not used in any other Kelmscott volume. Morris himself oversaw completion of the first two volumes, while the remaining six were printed by the trustees of the estate after his death in 1896.
