8vo (162 x 97 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-Y8 AA-EE8 FF4: 220 leaves. (Title slightly soiled and worn, scattered light staining, dark stains to a few leaves.)


binding: Early sixteenth-century Italian brown morocco (169 x 108 mm), tooled in blind, border frame of repeated adorned trefoil flanked by triple fillets, central panel with vertical array of rope work tools, at sides five rose tools, traces of two clasps to lower covers (only two nails for each clasp remain), spine with three compartments with saltires formed by triple fillets, plain edges. (Somewhat rubbed and worn, spine cracked and chipping, front hinge broken, rust stains to endpapers.)
