8vo (158 x 95 mm). Italic and Roman type, 24 lines plus headline. collation: A-D8: 32 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title- page and final verso, red silk ribbon. (Small repair to upper margin of A2, dampstaining to lower margin with some bleeding from ribbon.)


binding: Nineteenth-century English pebble-grained red morocco (163 x 102 mm), bound by Wheeler, covers with double gilt fillets forming a central rectangle extending to outer frame, small gilt leaf at each corner, flat spine gilt-lettered, edges gilt, marbled endleaves. (Spine rubbed.)
