16mo (120 x 77 mm). Roman and some italic type, 23 lines plus headline. collation: *⁸ a-o⁸: 120 leaves (final verso blank). Woodcut printer's device on title-page, woodcut initials, ruled in red throughout, pen trials to lower endleaf. (Some slight browning, wormhole to lower outer corner throughout, occasionally affecting 1 letter of text.)

binding: Contemporary French brown calf (123 x 81 mm), triple gilt fillet around sides, space between outer 2 fillets enamelled green, gilt oval cartouche in centre incorporating lion's head at top and bull's head at bottom, enamelled blue and green, flat spine with 5 false bands formed by gilt fillets, fleurons in compartments, edges gilt. (Recornered, restorations to covers and spine, repaired wormhole to both boards, lacking one lower endpaper.)
