RARE OCTAVO PRINTING OF THIS HERALDIC CENSUS OF VENETIAN FAMILIES, featuring 63 engravings.


The bookplate suggests that the volume once belonged to the Miani family; it appears identical to their family arms as illustrated on p. 68 of this volume.

Oblong 8vo, 100 x 140 mm. 60 leaves. Engraved title, 3 folding, 58 full-page and 2 half-page engravings. (Worming to first four leaves, 3cm tear without loss to first folding illustration.)


binding: Contemporary vellum over thin boards (105 x 145 mm), spine with 2 half bands. (Binding slightly soiled, upper endpaper wormed and becoming detached.)
