Description

woodblock print, from the series Souvenirs of Travel I (Tabi miyage dai isshu), signed Hasui, and with artist's pre-earthquake diamond-shaped seal Kawase, titled in the left margin as above, publisher’s circular seal Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo) to lower left, dated Taisho kyu shoshu (early autumn, 1920)

 

Horizontal oban: 25.6 x 39.2 cm, 10⅛ by 15⅜ in.
