Description

woodblock print, from the series Souvenirs of Travel II (Tabi miyage dai nishu), signed Hasui, and with artist's pre-earthquake diamond-shaped seal Kawase, titled in the left margin as above, publisher’s circular seal Watanabe (Watanabe Shozaburo) to lower left, dated Taisho ju, kyu, roku (6th September 1921)

 

Horizontal oban: 26.3 x 38.5 cm, 10⅜ by 15⅛ in.

A similar impression of the same print is in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, accession number 42.277.
