the sabiji-nuri [simulated russet iron] lacquered bowl in the form of a cresting wave (naruto-nami), sabiji-nuri peak, black lacquered turnbacks with encircled mitsu-uroko kamon [triple scale crests], two-tiered black lacquered tiered neck guard laced with spaced lacing in dark blue braid
The bowl to peak: 23 cm, 9 in.
Accompanied by a certificate of registration Kicho Shiryo [Important Object], no. 1314 issued by the Nihon Katchu Bugu Kenkyu Hozon-kai [The Association for the Research and Preservation of Japanese Helmets and Armour], dated Reiwa 5 (2023).
