each of shallow rounded form with everted rim on short splayed foot, the stepped domed lid incides with a register of floral stems, each with pine cone and leap finial

The incised decoration of paired floral stems is closely comparable to a taller covered bowl sold in these rooms, 1 May 2019, lot 238. A further pair of similarly decorated tombak covered bowls was sold at Christie's, London, 9 October 2014, lot 101, although the present pair appear to retain more gilding.
