2 volumes, 8vo, engraved frontispiece portraits of La Fontaine after Rigaud and of Eisen after Vispré, both engraved by Ficquet; illustrations after Eisen by Aliamet, Baquoy, Choffard, Delafosse, Flipart, Lemire, Leveau, Longueil and Ouvrier; vignettes and culs-de-lampe by Choffard, contemporary red morocco gilt, spine with raised bands in six compartments, second and third with green morocco gilt-lettered labels, the rest gilt, triple gilt fillet inner dentelles, edges gilt, marbled endpapers, occasional very light marginal spotting, extremities slightly rubbed
