height (without base): 36,8 cm; 14½ in.
height (with base): 41,2 cm; 16¼ in.
Conceived circa 1890 and cast in bronze in 1963 by the Georges Rudier foundry, Paris.
This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'oeuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin being currently prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2019-5988B.
