the second one by Jean Nivet, Cognac, 1766-68, plain handle, engraved on side A. NAUD, marked on body at rim;

the third by Pierre Desnos II, Rouen, 1738-44, the handle engraved possibly later with figure holding a glass and inscription MON OYE FAITT TOUT, the side engraved Fs. Le. Vasseur, marked on body at rim, back of handle, and ring, with later control marks;

the fourth by Pierre-René Delamarre, Rouen, 1743-45, the handle engraved with an embracing couple and inscription IL NEST RIEN DE SI DOUX, the body engraved J.Q. LABBEY, marked on body at rim and handle, with later control mark;

the fifth Rouen, 1768-75, the handle engraved with a cupid holding an arrow and inscription IL SEITINDRA JAMAIS, the body later engraved M. Rose Girard, marked on body at rim, maker's mark -L? on back of handle;

the sixth by Pierre Desnos II, Rouen, 1750-56, the handle engraved with a putto at workbench and inscription L'AMOUR ME RABOTE, marked on body at rim and back of handle.
