A Louis XV Gilt Bronze-Mounted Amaranth Bureau de Pente by Pierre IV Migeon, Second Quarter 18th Century
of gently serpentine outline and unusual scale; the slant front with later mahogany lectern opening to an arrangement of five drawers above ten pigeonholes with later marbled cardboard filing boxes with red morocco leather fronts and a later red morocco leather writing surface; the lower section with five drawers raised on cabriole legs with gilt bronze sabots; stamped once MIGEON to underside of left proper side rail
