A pair of satirical scenes: “Frère Luce” and “Les Oyes du Frère Philippe
Both grey wash with touches of watercolour, within drawn black and gold borders, on vellum;
‘Frère Luce” titled in gold in the border, and signed and dated: Peint par L:Geisstodt. Peintre en Miniature a Strasbourg. 1757;
the second gouache also similarly signed and inscribed (now illegible)
