redecorated; the top painted to simulate green marble painted in gold with birds and foliage above a green and gold carved guilloche and rosette frieze over two doors opening to an interior cupboard with two shelves flanked by bound laurel uprights; the doors with inset panels decorated to simulate Asian lacaquer; the borders and sides painted to simulate rosewood; on later ebonised toupie feet
