Gilt movement with verge escapement, balance bridge pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage, baluster pillars, the movement signed Mercier & Comp. A Paris, white enamel dial, roman numerals, paste-set hands, the bezel and case heightened by basse-taille enamel flowers in shades of opaque pink and white enamel, with undulating leafy vines painted with translucent green enamel over engine-turning, all over a wavy, engine-turned ground, some enamel losses, the case stamped with case maker’s mark PBO beneath a crown, partly rubbed
