of shallow rounded form, painted in underglaze cobalt-blue, green and relief red, outlined in black, decorated with an asymmetrical spray of roses, prunus and tulips issued from a leafy tuft, the rim with stylised breaking wave motifs, the reverse with alternating stylised palmettes
