Second edition of the first general bibliography of mining and metallurgy. The first edition, apparently published in 1726, is very rare with no copy in N.U.C. The present edition is greatly enlarged and corrected by Brückmann and describes approximately 1750 titles. It is also considerably rare.

Leupold, the German physicist and mechanician, designed and built many mathematical and physical instruments, and is best-known for his Theatrum Machinarum. Leupold included many French, English, Italian, Spanish, and Scandinavian books in his bibliography.
