the kalgan jasper bodies decorated with gadrooning, fluting and carved acanthus leaves, the upper sections formed of abundant fruiting vines in variously coloured hardstones

A pair of similarly designed fruit tazze were ordered from the Imperial Lapidary Workshops the 24th of June 1875, with their production starting on 1 July and finishing on 12 November 1875. The pair cost 1,270 rubles.

Another example from a pair of fruiting tazze designed by Alexandre I. Valberkh (1844-1881) is recorded in 1875 as costing 715 rubles and 82 kopecks.
