The arms are those of Kinloch, for Sir David Kinloch Bt., of Gilmerton, co. Edinburgh (1805-1879). These coolers, from a set of four, formed part of an extensive dinner service sold at Sotheby's, London, in 1979 which included four wine coasters, two sauce tureens, eight entree dishes, four meat dishes and covers, and a sauce tureen.
