inscribed Rodin and stamped with the foundry mark Alexis Rudier Fondeur (on the neck); stamped A. Rodin (on the interior)

bronze

height (without base): 7 ⅛ in. 17.8 cm.

Conceived between 1907-08; this example cast between 1918-20.


This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Critique de l'œuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin being currently prepared by Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2025-7539B.
