Conceived in 1937; this example cast in 1971 by Galleria Il Fauno, Turin. The present work is number 0 from an edition of 8 plus artist’s proofs.
Andrew Strauss and Timothy Baum of the Man Ray Expertise Committee have confirmed the authenticity of this work under references 00530-O-2025 and that the edition of this work will be included in the Catalogue of Objects & Sculpture of Man Ray, currently in preparation.
