1 page (169 x 210 mm). Written in ink and pencil on the recto of a leaf of blue wove paper, being the lower half of a folio leaf which has been separated, signed ("Ch. Darwin") at the top right, titled “The Descent of Man,” and with numerous emendations; old fold at center, minor toning to edges and fold, a few spots and evidence of mounting to verso.
