Height 28 cm, 11 in.
Estate of Daniel Wolf (1955-2021).
A closely related burnished pottery figure of a Mongolian figure, attributed to the Yuan dynasty, is preserved in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, object number 2008.10.
The dating of this lot is consistent with the result of a thermoluminescence test, Oxford Authentication Ltd. sample no. C125j30.
