4to (184 x 139 mm), title-page with small woodcut ornament, criblé initials, quires Ff-Gg reversed, marginal notes and bibliographical notes to front endleaves in two nineteenth-century hands, seventeenth-century speckled calf rebacked, sides ruled in blind, fleurons in blind at corners, small dampstain at upper margin, small marginal wormhole to Dd, Gg browned, joints rubbed


Fourth edition of the Vision of Piers Plowman, attributed to William Langland, without The Crede (most copies of the Vision are found without it).
