8vo, FIRST IMPRESSION, second issue, SIGNED BY CAST MEMBERS of Live and Let Die (1973) ROGER MOORE, Gloria Hendry and Madeline Smith to title-page; original black cloth, lettered in gilt, design to upper board in gilt, original dust-jacket by Kenneth Lewis, with plastic wallet containing related ephemera (list of ephemera available upon request), slight spotting to margins of endleaves and edge of textblock, dust-jacket with minor wear and soiling
Live and Let Die is the second book in Fleming's Bond series; the film of the same name, however, was the eighth in the series. Released in 1973, Live and Let Die marked the beginning of Roger Moore's twelve-year stint as the iconic MI6 agent, and was also the first Bond film to feature an African-American love interest: Rosie Carver, played by Gloria Hendry.
