Description

8vo (153 x 92 mm). Italic and Roman type, 30 lines plus headline. Collationa-z8 &4: 188 leaves. Woodcut initials, woodcut printer's device on final verso. (Restoration to first four leaves, foxing and dampstaining.)


Binding: Contemporary black morocco (158 x 105 mm), possibly Florentine, blind tooled with border of repeated knotwork, panel in a diapered pattern, traces of two pairs of ties, spine with raised bands in three compartments, each with lozenge tools. (Rebacked preserving original spine and restored, endleaves renewed.)
