8vo (156 x 97 mm). Italic and some greek type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: A-2P8: 304 leaves. Woodcut publisher's device on title-page and recto of final leaf, woodcut initials, woodcut map on A5v.


binding: Contemporary pale limp vellum (164 x 112 mm), slight fore-edge flaps, title in ink on upper cover in a sixteenth-century neat humanistic hand, flat spine with early title in ink running down, remains of 2 pasted labels, edges gilt. (Binding slightly rubbed and soiled.)
